Liriope muscari 'Monroe White' is a beautiful, evergreen perennial known for its elegant white flower spikes. Although it differs in structure from the sleek Euonymus, it is an excellent and popular ground cover or border plant. This variety is distinguished by its dense, grass-like foliage and pure white flowers, giving it a fresh, light appearance in shady or semi-shady areas of the garden.

Characteristics: 'Monroe White' forms dense clumps of dark green, narrow, grass-like leaves that remain green throughout the year. Between August and October, the plant produces striking, upright flower stems with numerous white flowers, reminiscent of grape hyacinths (hence the name 'muscari'). It is very hardy and has the great advantage of requiring little maintenance and thriving in difficult, shady conditions. With a mature height of 10 to 25 cm, it is an ideal plant for edging paths, underplanting, or mass planting.

The plant has narrow, glossy, dark green leaves that retain their color throughout the year (evergreen). Between August and October, striking, pure white flower spikes appear on sturdy stems above the foliage. The flowers attract butterflies and add color in the late season. This variety is ideal as ground cover, in borders, or as edging. The mature height is between 10 and 25 cm.
