Order

I did not receive a confirmation email, now what?

Sometimes it can take a while before the confirmation of your order arrives in the mail, or sometimes it arrives in your spam box. Please check all mailboxes to make sure it hasn't ended up somewhere else. If you still haven't received a confirmation the next day, please contact customer service.

My order didn't go right, but I've already paid. How do I get my money back?

Did your order not go through properly or aborted in the meantime but payment has already been completed at your bank? Don't worry, it can sometimes take a while to process everything. You will be notified via email of the failed/cancelled order, and the amount will be automatically refunded to your account, but this can sometimes take up to 24 hours.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Still changed your mind about ordering? No problem! As long as your order is not yet on its way to you, you can still cancel or change it by contacting customer service. Has the order already been given to the delivery service? Then you have 14 days after receiving the package to cancel the order and another 14 days to return the package. To start this process, you can also contact customer service.

Shipping

What is the cost of my shipping?

Shipping costs in the Netherlands and Belgium are always free. In countries outside the Netherlands and Belgium, the cost is €19.50. In these countries, the shipping costs of your order are free for orders over €250.

Delivery

My order was damaged, incomplete or delivered incorrectly. What now?

We are very sorry that something went wrong with your order. Please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving your order so that we can help you immediately and find an appropriate solution. To make the process even smoother, we ask you to send us pictures of the problem so we can find a solution even faster and make sure you can enjoy your product as soon as possible.

How can I track my order?

We constantly keep you informed about your order, as soon as it leaves our warehouse you will be notified. You will then receive a track & trace code so you know exactly when they are at the door with your order.

What happens if I am not home during delivery?

The delivery service will keep you informed about the delivery time, if you already know that you are not at home when they want to come by, you can indicate this at the time of delivery. If you are unexpectedly not at home, the delivery will be tried again at a later time, the package delivered to the neighbors, or taken to a pick-up point. The delivery service will also keep you informed of this.

How are the products delivered?

Our products come as convenient kits, complete with clear assembly instructions. This makes it easy to assemble them yourself and quickly enjoy your new garden accessories.

How quickly will my products be delivered?

Do you order on weekdays before 4 p.m.? Then we aim to ship your order on the same day. The shipping time usually takes 1 to 2 business days, unless otherwise indicated with the product. During peak periods, shipping time may take up to 3 business days.

How do I return my product?

Is your product still not quite as you had hoped? No problem, we understand that at Planters of Steel . You can return your products within 28 days via our returns portal.

When will I receive my refund?

Once we have received your return, we will check it for you as soon as possible, is everything completely fine? Then you will receive your refund within 14 days.

Are there any fees for returning my products?

If you wish to return your products, we understand. Once we have received the product back in good condition, we will refund you the total amount of the order including shipping to the original method of payment. The cost of returning the product to us is for you. For the final cost, please consult your postal carrier's website.

Warranty

Is there a warranty on my products?

All products you buy through our online store are covered by a standard 12-month warranty. Unless otherwise stated.

What is covered by the warranty on my products?

At Planters of Steel , all defects due to manufacturing or material defects such as breaks or cracks not caused by impact will be reimbursed by us. You can submit your claim through our customer service team, explaining what is wrong and including photos if possible. This way we can resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

I dropped the product and it is damaged, what now?

An accident is in a small corner, we understand that. Unfortunately, this is not within the warranty terms, but we may be able to help you fix it with your product so you can still enjoy it. Please contact our customer service team, and we can inform you of any repair costs or other options.

How do I create an account?

This is very simple. You click on the icon next to the shopping cart. Then we ask you for your email address. The moment you enter it, a code will be sent to your email address. Enter this code and you are already in your account. Every time you log in the same will be asked of you. In your account you can find various things, such as your orders and shipping information.

How can I change my password if I have forgotten it?

Everyone forgets something from time to time. Have you forgotten your password but would like to log into your account? At the login screen to your account, there is the button "forgot password" if you click on it an email will be sent to you to recover your password, so you can access your account again.

I placed an order as a guest, but now also have an account. Can I add my (old) order to my account?

Your order is linked to your e-mail address. So if you later create an account with the same e-mail address, your order will automatically be listed here. Did you use 2 different e-mail addresses? Of course that's possible too. Just come to customer service with your order number and e-mail address, and we will link your order to your account.

My information is no longer correct, can I update it?

In your account you can change your own data such as address, phone number, email address, and more. If this does not work, we are happy to help you through our customer service.

Are the planters suitable for year-round outdoor use?

Yes, both our powder-coated and corten steel planters are designed to be outdoors all year round. They are resistant to rain, snow, sun and wind, and retain their quality and appearance regardless of the season.

How do I maintain my powder-coated or corten steel planters?

Powder-coated planters require little maintenance; simple cleaning with water and a soft cloth will keep them looking beautiful.Corten steel planters develop their primary rust layer naturally and do not require additional maintenance, although you can clean them periodically with water.

How long does it take for corten steel products to develop a rusty color?

The transformation of corten steel begins immediately after exposure to the outdoors. Within a few weeks you will see the first rust color emerge, but it can take several months for the orange-brown color to fully develop.
