Alchemilla mollis, also known as lady's mantle, is an excellent and popular perennial that is highly valued for its charming appearance and durability. This variety is distinguished by its large, scalloped leaves, making it the ideal choice for creating a lush, natural atmosphere in borders, shady corners, or as an effective ground cover.

Features: Lady's mantle has a unique characteristic whereby its leaves beautifully retain the morning dew like glistening pearls. It is very low maintenance and has the great advantage of being a real magnet for bees and butterflies thanks to the delicate yellow-green flowers that appear in summer. Its versatile and robust nature makes it a sustainable addition that will brighten up any garden, while also helping to suppress weed growth.

Alchemilla mollis is characterized by its soft, gray-green leaves with a finely hairy surface and a distinctive pleated, scalloped shape. From June to August, the plant is adorned with a cloud of delicate, yellow-green (lime-colored) flowers that protrude above the foliage in loose clusters. The plant forms a dense clump about 30 to 40 centimeters high, which can hang beautifully over the edges of a path or border.

This versatile plant thrives in sunny, semi-shaded, or shaded locations. Lady's mantle has few soil requirements, provided the soil is sufficiently nutrient-rich and not extremely dry.
