Vinca minor 'La Grave' (also known as 'Bowles' Variety') is an excellent and popular evergreen ground cover plant that is highly valued for its large flowers and healthy growth. This variety is distinguished by its glossy, deep green leaves and vibrant purple flowers, making it the ideal choice for shady or semi-shady areas in the garden, such as under trees or in borders.

Features: 'La Grave' retains its deep green foliage throughout the year, providing continuous structure and a fresh appearance. It is very hardy, robust, and has the great advantage of quickly forming a dense mat, effectively suppressing weeds. The plant flowers profusely in spring and summer, is low-maintenance, and surprisingly drought-tolerant. Thanks to its strong character, it is a reliable choice for both large planting beds and refined rock gardens.

Vinca minor 'La Grave' is characterized by its relatively large, star-shaped flowers with an intense purple-blue color that contrasts beautifully with the dark foliage. The leaves are leathery, oval, and have a healthy sheen. The plant stays low to the ground, usually between 10 and 15 centimeters high, and spreads steadily via creeping stems. Tip: For extra rich flowering in the spring, you can prune the plant back lightly in February; this stimulates the formation of new shoots and flower buds.
